I am just wondering would it be possible to use GitHub or some other solution to manage our custom scripts?

Thank you for your message 
we plan to improve the script editor in the following months and one of the main ideas is that the user will be able to use external editors (e.g. Visual Studio Code) with all the advantages that developers are used to when coding JS code (typescript, etc.).
