Display Long Text fields in Form

Hi,

In the form designer you can change de width of the fields. When having a Long Text field, I like to display more of the text in the field. So I want to change the length of the Long Text field so Ik can display more than just a few text lines.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Thank you for a very interesting question, but this option is not yet possible. The standard number of displayed rows (with classic font size) is about 16 lines. However, thank you very much and we will consider this extension in the future.

Hello,
I have the same problem with the small height of the Long Text data field. I have a form for displaying help (widget form) and Long Text is practically the only field that is displayed on it (except for the title and a few service fields that are hidden by the user’s role). The text is much longer than 16 lines, but then the scrollbar is displayed and the rest of the form height is unused.
Do you plan any improvements that would solve these situations?

I already found a solution. Display the content of the LongText field using the freeHTML component. It’s not exactly one click, I was a bit worried about the styles, but the result is great!
